HELP!!!! THERE ARE SEVERAL BIG HOLES IN THE ALTAR GUILD SCHEDULE. PERSONS ARE NEEDED TO SET UP BETWEEN SERVICES AND TO CLEAN UP AFTER THE 10 AM SERVICE. ARE YOU BEING CALLED TO THIS MINISTRY???? Anyone interested in any aspect of Altar Guild ministry should speak to Pat Jeziorowski, Alene Brock or Lynne Smith. Various tasks will be assigned according to your talents and time frame.
EUCHARISTIC VISITORS. Several people have now stepped forward to be a part of this ministry. Eucharistic Visitors take communion from the Sunday service to shut ins, those in nursing homes and people ill at home. Parish members can take on the ministry of Visiting these same people without bringing Communion. Speak to Butch Wiest if you are interested in this ministry.
Larry and Cathy Covert are heading up a crew that is preparing the Rectory for the next occupant.

PROCESS FOR CALLING ST. DAVID’S NEXT PRIEST. If you have signed up to participate on the Profile or Discernment (formerly Search) Committee please see Doug Turner or Butch Wiest. Mother Tori clarified several aspects of these committees that those signing on should be aware of. The Profile Committee is the “marketing” and information gathering group. They will be creating a pamphlet or CD of who and what we are here at St. David’s. The Discernment Committee needs to have a very close relationship with God and be open to His direction. These members will use the information from the Profile Committee, the applications and prayer to see which ones should be called. They will conduct interviews by phone and in person. Their recommendations are then submitted to the Vestry which will make the final decision. If you would like more information please see Doug or Butch.

REMEMBER??? We’ve been asked to bring in 28oz. spaghetti jars (clean with lids) for the next Fund Raising project. There are collection boxes in the Narthex.
“MISS YOU” CARDS. A selection of cards is available on the Narthex table. If you haven’t seen someone here in awhile you can choose a card, sign it and we will mail it from the office.
ALTAR FLOWERS. There are many blank spaces on the Altar Flower chart. Altar flowers will be available beginning April 6. Arrangements are 25.00. Be sure to fill out information sheet and return with your payment. Information sheets are attached to flower charts.
HAVE YOU MADE YOUR PLEDGE TO EPISCOPAL COMMUNITY SERVICES YET? You can put your envelope in the alms basin or mail it directly to the ECS office. Our pledges/gifts total $2061 so far.
Do have a stash of old Diaries? Would you like to contribute them to St. David’s archives? We are beginning to organize our history and one great resource is old newsletters. If you have such and are willing to donate to St. David’s, please call the office (674-4670) or Jerry Linsner (675-2763).
St. David's will be 60 years old in 2009!!! How shall we celebrate this milestone???
